The C30737MH series of LLC SMD packaged APDs is the latest in the C30737 family. It has the smallest footprint of any of our standard SMD packages, at only 2mm by 1.75mm in size. This makes it a very attractive device where space is a constraint, all the while benefiting from compatibility with automated assembly tools for high efficiency assembly at minimal cost. It can also be tiled to make either linear or two dimensional arrays.
Excelitas’ C30737CH-300-7 APD comes in a unique LLC SMD package, allowing for automated pick-and-place "side-looker" or "top-looker" assembly on pcbs, making for a very flexible part assembly wise. This feature greatly facilitates optical design for laser meter or laser range-finding application. Excelitas’ Model C30737LH Series is an LCC SMD package that can be ordered with built-in optical bandpass filters at different wavelengths. The C30737MH Series, C30737CH Series and C30737LH Series can be ordered in "Tape and Reel" packaging, ready for convenient, automated, SMD pick-and-place.
The C30724 is a low gain APD and can be operated at fixed voltage without the need of a temperature compensation. The C30724EH comes in a traditional, hermetically-sealed TO-18 can.
The C30737PH Series comes in cost-effective, plastic through-hole T1 ¾ (TO-like, “PH”) packages. These versions are available in two active area sizes: 0.23 and 0.5 mm diameter.
