In an increasingly connected world, our technology is enabling global communications with the launch of space constellations to provide internet access to previously unconnected parts of the planet.


We have over 45 years of space heritage in the manufacture of radiation-hard space glass for optical solar reflectors and coverglasses. We fulfill 80% of the world's requirements for these components. Every coverglass is customized to specific customer requirements to maximize efficiency.

Our deep heritage in manufacturing robust YAG-enhanced sensor technology has qualified Excelitas to contribute to various extended duration space surveying missions. Additionally, Excelitas Rubidium Atomic Frequency Standards deployed aboard a USAF Global Positioning System satellite has provided continuously reliable, failure-free, on-orbit operation for over 21 years, demonstrating our space-qualified pedigree for extraterrestrial applications.
