Excelitas Launches pco.dimax cs8 High-Speed Camera for Automotive Safety Testing and Advanced Motion Analysis
New 8 MP camera delivers more than 1,100 fps at 4K resolution, combining excellent image quality, rugged crash-test reliability, and seamless FALCON integration

Designed as the successor to the trusted pco.dimax cs family, the new camera combines 4K high-speed imaging, automotive-grade durability, secure onboard recording and native integration with FALCON extra high-speed video software in a compact platform optimized for crash-test environments.
The pco.dimax cs8 delivers more than 1,100 frames per second at full 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) and over 5,000 frames per second at Full HD resolution, enabling engineers and researchers to capture and analyze fast-moving events with exceptional detail and precision. Featuring a back-illuminated CMOS sensor with global shutter technology, the camera eliminates motion distortion while providing the image quality required for critical vehicle safety validation, motion analysis and dynamic testing applications.

It combines excellent image quality, 4K high-speed imaging, automotive-grade durability, secure onboard recording and native integration with FALCON extra high-speed video software in a compact platform optimized for crash-test environments. Flexible lens mounting options, including C-Mount, F-Mount and EF-Mount compatibility, further support a wide range of test configurations and imaging requirements.
