Integrated Motion Presence Detector (IMPM) PYT 1197L / 7901
The Excelitas Integrated Motion Presence Multi (IMPM) detector combines pyroelectric and thermopile technologies by integrating a DigiPyro® and a DigiPile® with a multi-zone lens in a single housing. The IMPM provides multiple detection capabilities and enhanced sensitivity within a small footprint. Its integrated lens eliminates the need for external optics, such as a Fresnel lens, enabling smaller and more aesthetically refined housing options.
The IMPM combines pyroelectric and thermopile technologies in one compact housing, integrating DigiPyro® and DigiPile® with a multi-zone lens. It can detect far-range (~10 m) motion, mid-range (~7 m) approach, and short-range (~5 m) presence. The combination of two sensing technologies supports robust detection algorithms that reduce false detections. The integrated lens creates 8 distinct zones for movement detection and one central zone for presence detection.
