Excelitas Expands Phoseon VeriCure Water-Cooled UV LED Curing Lamp Portfolio with Four New Wide-Format Lengths

Addition of 750 mm, 900 mm, 1050 mm and 1200 mm configurations support virtually any industrial UV coating application width

Excelitas®, a leading provider of advanced, life-enriching technologies that make Phoseon VeriCure Sizesa difference, serving global market leaders in the life sciences, advanced industrial, next-generation semiconductor and avionics sectors, today announced the expansion of its Phoseon® VeriCure™ Water-Cooled UV LED Curing System with four new wide-format lengths – 750 mm, 900 mm, 1050 mm and 1200 mm – designed to meet the demanding UV curing requirements of high-speed industrial coating and printing applications.

Each VeriCure lamp features a unique SLM array design, combined with a patented high-efficiency cooling system, delivering high optical power and outstanding dose performance that enables faster process speeds and greater product throughput. The added lengths join the 1350 mm configuration, giving manufacturers a comprehensive selection of emission widths to support virtually any process requirement across wood and MDF processing, flooring, metal coating and a wide range of commercial printing applications.

Key features and benefits include:

  • Energy Efficient, Eco-Friendly Operation: Compared to conventional Mercury vapor curing technologies, VeriCure UV LED lamps reduce energy consumption by up to 60% for increased reliability and reduced maintenance costs. They also eliminate mercury and ozone emissions to create a safer working environment, while future-proofing operations against tightening global mercury regulations, such as the EU's revised Mercury Regulation.
  • Reliability and Durability: Engineered with a robust mechanical design, VeriCure lamps deliver dependable, long-term performance. An optional secondary glass assembly protects the primary window from damage, helping reduce unplanned downtime and costly repairs. The glass is designed for quick removal and replacement, simplifying routine cleaning and maintenance.
  • Ease of Integration: The UV LED system is available in wavelengths of 365 nm, 395 nm and 405 nm. It supports a comprehensive range of communication protocols including OmniCure® AC Series, Analog, Modbus TCP/IP and Phoseon CLIP. Its IP66-rated construction, optional secondary protective glass assembly and T-slot mounting design ensure robust, low-maintenance performance.
  • Excellent Uniformity and Process Control: VeriCure delivers better than ±10% uniformity for an exceptionally uniform, high-quality cure. Its patented technology enables independent control of each LED module across the irradiation area, with segmented control in 75 mm increments along the length of the lamp, allowing users to tailor the emission profile to accommodate complex or non-planar geometries.
  • Instant On/Off Operation with Adjustable Output: On/off capability means no warm-up time and therefore less energy consumption. Adjustable output allows the lamp to function at the output level required by the application for better energy efficiency and longer LED lifetimes.

"The expansion of the VeriCure portfolio to include these four new lengths gives our customers unmatched flexibility to configure a UV LED curing solution that precisely fits their process width requirements," said Marvin Ruffin, Product Manager at Excelitas. "With its high-dose performance, advanced LED module control and robust construction, VeriCure is engineered to meet the most demanding requirements of today's industrial UV curing market, while positioning customers to adapt as their process requirements evolve."

Backed by 330+ US patents and more than 50 years of combined UV LED experience, Excelitas is a trusted partner for UV curing customers worldwide.
