Position Outline:

We are seeking an experienced HRBP to facilitate and support delivery of HR processes for a population over two sites (St Asaph and Bodelwyddan). You will support Functional Leaders in all HR matters, whilst overseeing the day-to-day HR function for employees. This role will be varied, challenging and provides an opportunity for you to make an impact and develop your HR experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate guidelines, regulations, laws, procedures and policies.
  • Ability to quickly acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within a generalist HR role.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation and benefits practices, absence management, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and UK employment laws.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential.
  • Minimum CIPD Level 5
  • Experience of HR Management systems / HR Information systems desirable
