Excelitas Technologies® Corp., a global technology leader delivering innovative, customized photonic solutions, will highlight its expanding product line of OmniCure curing solutions, including the new OmniCure AC8225-F+ UV LED Curing System, at the IWCS International Cable & Connectivity Symposium. As the latest addition to Excelitas’ family of curing products, the OmniCure AC8225-F+ was specifically designed for fiber curing. It provides higher irradiance and added features to enable increased production speeds at the longer working distances that are customary of coating applications.

Product highlights of the new OmniCure AC8225-F+ UV LED Curing System on display at Excelitas’ exhibit (Booth #224):
- Excelitas’ new compact, air-cooled UV LED curing system features a custom optical design that delivers outstanding performance, exceptional cost savings and easy integration of fiber optic coatings. OmniCure AC8225-F+ provides high irradiance – up to 16W/cm2 at 10-15mm working distances – for rapid, even curing of fiber optic coatings with greatly reduced electrical power consumption compared to current lamp solutions. It is ideal for display bonding and fiber coating applications such as wire, cable and fiber optic cables.
