Excelitas Technologies Launches LINOS Reduced Outgassing UV F-Theta Ronar Lens for the 340 nm-360 nm Wavelength Range
Optimized design delivers minimized outgassing and low spot size variation over the scan field for laser material processing applications

Engineered to complement Excelitas’ LINOS UV Beam Expanders, the new LINOS F-Theta lens delivers superior durability compared to conventional products, supporting the higher UV pulse energies and shorter laser pulses required for laser material processing applications across the semiconductor, wafer processing, electronic display and solar cell fabrication industries.
The lens achieves exceptional durability through a significant reduction in auxiliary materials and a clean assembly process. Its unique UV design incorporates a high-grade fused-silica lens with a high-end broadband lens coating, ensuring excellent optical performance, while minimizing back reflections. Low-outgassing properties are further supported by optimized packaging and dust cap materials. Additionally, Excelitas has refined its production, coating, logistic, warehouse and assembly processes to minimize contamination and protect components throughout the workflow process.
