Excelitas Technologies to Showcase New OmniCure AC Series UV LED Curing Systems at the IWCS 2018 Cable and Connectivity Symposium

Excelitas Technologies^® Corp., a global technology leader delivering innovative, customized photonic solutions, will highlight its latest OmniCure AC Series of UV LED Curing Platforms including the new OmniCure AC9225-F UV LED Fiber Curing System at the IWCS 2018 Cable and Connectivity Symposium.

Products on display at Excelitas’ IWCS Booth #129 include:

• NEW OmniCure AC9225-F UV LED Fiber Curing System: Ideal for fiber coating or marking applications, the new air-cooled OmniCure AC9225-F delivers up to 20W/cm² irradiance at a 10-15mm working distance. The system features a custom optical design to optimize delivery of UV onto the fiber, thus allowing for efficient curing and faster line speeds with greatly reduced electrical power consumption compared to traditional lamp solutions. The AC9225-F platform shares the same mechanical enclosure as its AC8225-F+ predecessor, while boasting higher output to enable faster process speeds and easy integration.
• OmniCure AC Series of UV LED Curing Platforms: Designed for a range of applications using small to wide substrates, OmniCure AC Series of UV LED Curing Systems deliver consistent, reliable UV curing results for a variety of adhesives, coating and inks. To extend their range of use and offer great flexibility, the AC Series offers UV LED curing systems that can be adjoined without compromising optical uniformity between systems to meet the needs of any application size.
