Media Advisory

WHO:  Excelitas Technologies® Corp., a leading industrial technology manufacturer focused on delivering innovative, market-driven photonic solutions, will showcase its wide range of UVC lighting and disinfection systems at the International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) World Congress. During the Commercial Product Showcase, Excelitas will also present a session entitled, “Bottle Disinfection with UVC LEDs.”

WHAT:  Staff will be available at the Excelitas table to discuss featured products including:

  • KepriUVC Upper-Air Disinfection System: The LED-based Kepri UVC Upper-Air Disinfection System provides safe, effective, real-time disinfection of upper-level room air regardless of room occupancy. Kepri’s potent UVC energy is effective against a wide range of pathogens including bacteria, mold and viruses such as those that cause COVID-19. The system’s unique design allows for safe and effective room air disinfection without emitting any harmful or environmentally unfriendly ozone gas.
  • Excimer UVC Light Sources: Manufactured as linear and module forms, Excimer UVC lamps generate eye safe narrow bandwidth 222nm ultraviolet light safely and efficiently. The 222nm wavelength is proven effective at combating a wide variety of microbes, making them ideal for air and surface disinfection and package sterilization.
  • UVC Xenon Flashlamps: Excelitas Pulsed Xenon UV Flashlamps offer a broadband UV spectrum useful in a variety of food and packaging sterilization applications, with the option for custom design and manufacturing in any geometry using precision and economies of scale. Input energies range from <1 Joule to >10,000 J, with powers from a few Watts to multiple Kilowatts. The broad UV emission wavelengths of Excelitas’ pulsed Xenon light sources are tailored for output in the UVC, eliminating any concern about the peak absorption of the microorganism.
  • Phoseon KeyPro UV LED Decontamination System: KeyPro UV LED decontamination systems eliminate contamination without residue or rinsing, saving up to 90% of the time and cost of chemical decontamination. KeyPro is ideal for a variety of disinfection applications including laboratory surfaces, equipment, packaging, manufacturing, and food safety due to its’ low heat emission, precise control, and long operating life.
