Excelitas to Display Full Spectrum of UV Curing and Infrared Drying Solutions for Wood Coatings at LIGNA 2025
WHO: Excelitas®, the leading provider of advanced, life-enriching technologies that make a difference, serving global market leaders in the life sciences, advanced industrial, next-generation semiconductor and avionics sectors, will highlight its expanded portfolio of UV curing and infrared drying solutions for wood coating applications at LIGNA 2025. Excelitas offers customers the full spectrum of solutions from UV to IR, supporting a wide range of applications.
WHAT: Excelitas experts will be available at booth #A58, Hall 17 to discuss featured products including:
- NEW Phoseon VeriCure™ UV LED Curing System: The VeriCure wide format water-cooled UV LED curing system addresses the increasing demand for improved throughput and environmental sustainability in the wood coating industry. With high power/high dose capabilities, the VeriCure system unlocks new possibilities for high-performance wood coating applications.
- OmniCure® AC8300 UV LED Curing System: OmniCure AC8300 air-cooled UV LED curing systems are designed with advanced custom front-end optics to provide high-powered, high peak irradiance and exceptional uniformity at different working distances.
- Fusion UV LightHammer® 6 MARK II UV Curing System: The LightHammer 6 MARK II is a smart microwave-powered UV curing system with a 150 mm (6 inch) irradiator and 200 W/cm (500 W/inch) power class. Microwave UV curing systems are an ideal solution for wood coating applications that require broadband UV.
- Excimer Lamps: Excimer Lamps are high energy single wavelength UV light sources used to polymerize a very thin layer on the surface of the varnish. These lamps are used to produce matte (low gloss) surfaces in the wood coating industry where short UV wavelengths, such as 172 nm or 222 nm, are required.
- Noblelight Amba® Mercury Arc Lamps: Available in various lengths and power classes, Amba UV Curing Lamps are designed for reliable curing results. They are ideal for use as replacement lamps in applications such as wood coating, printing, and many other UV curing processes.
- Noblelight Golden8® Infrared (IR) Emitters: Golden 8 IR Emitters are made with high-quality quartz tubes and feature a gold reflector for highest efficiency. The product’s unique twin-tube layout, results in higher radiation density and improved mechanical stability. The emitters can also be adjusted in wavelength, power and size to any heat application in the wood industry.
- Noblelight Infradry® Compact IR Heating System: Infradry Compact is a high-performance IR dryer module that is particularly compact and available in various configurations. It combines powerful twin-tube IR emitters, hot air and integrated extraction for drying water-based paints, inks or varnishes.
