BBA – Transparency in Coverage

The Transparency in Coverage Final Rules require group health plans and health insurance issuers to disclose detailed pricing information in separate machine-readable files (MRFs). These files must be publicly available and accessible free of charge without any restrictions.

Please refer to the below link to access the Machine Readable Files that are made available in response to the Federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers.  The machine readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data.
