Infrared, UV or hot air - which should you use?
Overview
This webinar is presented in German only.
Infrared dries and hot air also dries and UV cures...are users spoiled with the choice of these competing methods? The products, processes, and coatings determine what is most suitable. Much efficiency can be gained, but it can also be lost. However, empirical values from numerous systems that have been designed, as well as from practical testing, provide a good guide.
In this webinar, we discussed the strengths and weaknesses of these technologies and gave examples of useful combinations. For instance, we showed how preheating UV coating optimizes the quality while connecting an infrared booster upstream of a hot-air oven saves an enormous amount of heating time.
