Göttingen, Germany (Operations)

Our Excelitas facility in Göttingen, Germany specializes in the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor market. This site delivers highly complex optical systems, as well as optical and mechanical components for applications in lithography production, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

The new tailor-made production building at Göttingen’s Science Park was opened in September 2021 and offers 6,700 m² floor space, of which  1,500 m²  are cleanrooms according to the very high cleanliness class ISO 5. It has a state-of-the-art automated material warehouse and an ultrasonic cleaning system that meets the highest cleanliness levels for optical components in the semiconductor industry.
