Excelitas Technologies® Corp. recently became aware of a press release from the Beaverton, Oregon company Lumencor, Inc. announcing its belief that certain Excelitas technology may infringe its patents and indicating that it has commenced legal action against Excelitas Technologies Corp.
While Excelitas does not comment on pending litigation or threats thereof, the vague allegations and conclusory statements in Lumencor’s press release are completely unfounded and without merit. In the event that Lumencor actually asserts any legal claims against Excelitas, Excelitas will vigorously defend itself against such claims and respond aggressively to protect its intellectual property and valuable technology.
