Excelitas Technologies Introduces New Short Wavelength Enhanced APD Preamplifier Module for High Performance Applications

C360659-UV-1 Offers High Responsivity for Low Level Light Detection  Capabilities Across the Visible Range of the Spectrum

Excelitas Technologies, a global technology leader focused on delivering innovative, customized optoelectronics to OEMs seeking high-performance technology solutions, today announced that it has launched a new short wavelength enhanced, APD preamplifier module specifically designed for low level visible light detection.

The C360659-UV-1 offers high responsivity at 500 nm with a very low noise floor. This new solution delivers superior performance in demanding applications such as fluorescence detection, high energy physics, safety radiation detection, optical tomography, and environmental monitoring.
