About WinLens3D Basic

WinLens3D Basic allows users to set up systems from Linos lenses and/or user-defined components and to import and export designs. It offers a wide range of analysis tools in chart or table form – Seidels, real ray tracing, transmission calculations, and much more. Zoom systems can be modeled and tilt and decenters applied easily. The program comes with databases of Linos catalog lenses (singlets and doublets), prisms, coatings, and optical glasses. It also includes sophisticated glass selection tools including a highly customizable interactive glass map. The pro version, WinLens3D, includes optimization, ghost and footprint analysis and comes with other programs including a tolerancing package for generating customized DIN ISO 10110 drawings. Users of the pro version can also add their own materials and have access to the powerful Glass Manager database. Customers who purchase a Mikrobench starter sets from Qioptiq will receive the full software version free of charge.
