Air D UVC Disinfection System

The Air D UVC system provides quick and easy disinfection without the use of chemicals, utilizing ultraviolet radiation, commonly known as ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI). This method of air disinfection significantly reduces the risk of infection and enhances the well-being of occupants. The Air D in-duct disinfection modules are designed to fit seamlessly into any supply air ductwork system. Its UV-C (UVGI) lamps are highly effective, require minimal maintenance, are ozone-free, and are built to last.

The Air D UVC system is an ideal solution for disinfecting air in large rooms or buildings with forced-air heating and cooling systems, whether in a production area, hotel, public institution, offices, museum, or airport, including clean rooms and areas with low temperatures.

Studies indicate that the risk of infection in open-plan offices is high, and maintaining appropriate distances can be challenging in production environments. Indoor air quality is crucial, as adequate ventilation significantly reduces the risk of infection in shared spaces. However, implementing proper ventilation can be difficult. Consequently, the risk of infection rises notably in poorly ventilated areas or those that cannot be adequately ventilated.

Some buildings must operate their ventilation systems in recirculation mode for energy efficiency or air quality purposes, which also heightens the risk of infection. Due to limited fan capacity for supply air, increasing airflow or adding filtration media to the supply air ducts may not be feasible. Utilizing UVC light for air disinfection (UVGI) is one of the most effective and economical solutions. The Air D system is an ideal in-duct option for forced-air heating and cooling systems.
