LINOS® Aluminum Rectangular Plano Mirrors are versatile optical components designed for high-performance reflection across a wide range of applications, enabling users to achieve precise, efficient optical results. These standard mirrors are available for the visible to infrared or the ultraviolet spectral ranges, delivering high reflection across broad spectral and angle-of-incidence ranges for reliable performance in diverse settings. VIS–IR mirrors feature a protective SiO₂ overcoating, while UV mirrors are protected with an MgF₂ overcoating, ensuring long-lasting durability and resistance to environmental influences, giving users peace of mind. Manufactured from low-expansion substrates, they maintain thermal stability and surface flatness, minimizing distortion and supporting consistent accuracy under varying conditions.

Custom substrates or coatings are available for specialized requirements in larger quantities upon request. These aluminum plano mirrors offer reliability, versatility, and precision, making them suitable for laboratory research, industrial optics, spectroscopy, and laser systems that require consistent, high-performance reflection.

  • High reflection within a broad spectral and angle-of-incidence range

  • Protected by an SiO2 overcoating (RAL) or MgF2 for the UV-region (RAL UV) prevents surface degradation, extending mirror lifetime and reducing maintenance

  • Low expansion material, minimizing thermal distortion and maintaining precise optical performance under temperature changes

  • RAL-UV: Guaranteed reflection > 85 % in the range of 230 nm ≤ λ ≤ 400 nm, > 88 % at λ0 = 300 nm for AOI = 45°, unpolarized

  • RAL-UV: Damage threshold H > 200 mJ/cm2 at 193 nm with 30 ns laser pulses (s-on-1) at 10 Hz

  • RAL VIS: Guaranteed reflection > 85 % in the range of 400 nm ≤ λ ≤ 700 nm for AOI = 45°, unpolarized

  • RAL VIS: Damage threshold H > 1.5 J / cm2 at 1064 nm with 11 ns laser pulses (s-on-1) at 10 Hz

  • Custom mirrors offering other substrates or coatings are available for higher quantities upon request
