Carbon Infrared Emitter

Carbon Infrared Emitters

Noblelight carbon infrared emitters (CIR®) feature a unique heating filament design that combines efficient radiation with very short response times in the seconds range. The unique twin-tube layout of our carbon emitters (the "Golden 8") gives them higher radiation density and improved mechanical stability. Carbon infrared emitters are also available as round tubes.

These carbon infrared emitters are ideal for water-based coatings and materials such as plastics, glass and textiles, which offer highest energy absorption in the medium range of IR wavelengths. Switching to medium-wave carbon infrared emitters can help save significant amounts of energy costs. Extensive tests show that carbon emitters require up to 30% less energy for drying water-based paints and varnishes than conventional short-wave emitters.
