The module is compact and lightweight for user comfort while enabling low distortion and a wide field of view (FOV). CobraEye is perfect for training, simulation mounted or dismounted solider applications. With an industry leading design, the CobraEye is compatible with most micro displays with formats ranging from SXGA to VGA.
The CobraEye is a compact and lightweight eyepiece for maximum user comfort while enabling low distortion and a wide field of view (FOV). Utilizing a combination of glass and plastic elements, this eyepiece meets a required weight of 60 g with a -6D to 2D dioptric adjustment. It has excellent correction of aberrations and color which provides high resolution images across the FOV. This also makes the eyepiece ideal for monochrome and color display viewing applications. In addition, CobraEye avoids vignetting to ensure uniformity in brightness across the total FOV.
