FiberLight D2 miniaturized Deuterium light source

FiberLight D2 Lamp System

The FiberLight® D2 lamp system is a compact UV-Vis light source designed for mobile spectroscopy applications and all handheld devices requiring low power consumption. It offers a continuous spectrum covering the entire range from vacuum UV to near-infrared. This system combines a deuterium and tungsten lamp to provide a complete UV-VIS spectrum solution.

The FiberLight D2 System is a complete UV-Vis light source, combining a deuterium lamp with a 0.25-watt tungsten lamp, a shutter, an optical system, and an SMA 905 connector. All elements are mounted on a printed circuit board. Both lamps and the shutter can be controlled separately by a TTL signal. FiberLight D2 requires an external 12 VDC / 600 mA supply.

This D2 lamp system is the only light source on the market with a remarkably such a small size, an integrated power supply, and a smooth spectrum in the entire UV-VIS range. FiberLight D2 is easy to use and integrate.

FiberLight D2 is the ideal light source for applications with limited space for equipment, whether stationary, portable/handheld, or even battery-driven instruments. Low power consumption, small dimensions, and ease of operation open new possibilities for instrument designers.
