Excelitas offers high durability custom windows with exceptional mechanical, chemical and environmental durability to address the most demanding applications starting at 193nm wavelength. Utilizing our proprietary Advanced Plasma Source (APS) and Ion Beam Sputtering (IBS) coating technologies, these highly durable windows are damage resistant and available in the UV, VIS, NIR and infrared.

As the first company to commercially provide Ion Beam Sputtered (IBS) thin film coatings, we continue to expand our technology to produce the highest quality thin films performing a range of functions across the full optical spectrum from deep UV (190nm) through long wave IR (14um) wavelengths. Excelitas’ ability to produce the highest performance, lowest loss, most durable thin films across the spectrum is unmatched in the world.

Our broad selection of high durability windows in the infrared can be customized from virtually any substrate material, including fused silica, Si, Ge, ZnSe, ZnS, CaF2, MgF2, Cleartran and AMTIR.
