Excelitas high performance infrared (IR) prisms provide dielectric antireflection and high reflection coatings to deliver superior laser damage resistance and exceptional environmental stability and mechanical durability. Utilizing our world-renowned capability for optical fabrication and polishing an extensive range of materials and geometries, our prisms are characterized by high quality surfaces, minimal edge defects, large clear apertures, tight angular tolerances and low wavefront error performance.

Fabricated in a wide variety of prism types, our IR prisms utilize substrate materials including fused silica, Si, Ge, ZnSe, ZnS, CaF2, MgF2, Cleartran and AMTIR. Our carefully controlled fabrication and coating processes ensure consistent superior performance while our full suite of advanced metrology instruments ensures arc-second level angle accuracy.
