Mounted N-BK7 Symmetric-Concave Lenses, ARB2-VIS

The LINOS® series of mounted symmetric-concave lenses from Excelitas is manufactured from high-quality N-BK7 glass with a VIS coating and is offered in a range of focal lengths and diameters to accommodate a broad range of optical applications. These lenses are suitable for beam expansion, controlled divergence of collimated light, and configurations that require minimal spherical aberration and balanced optical performance. Each lens is fabricated to stringent tolerances to ensure consistent optical quality and is available either mounted in a black-anodized, engraved aluminum housing or unmounted for flexible system integration.

Our mounted symmetric-concave lenses, crafted from high-quality N-BK7 glass, integrate seamlessly into LINOS Microbench and Nanobench systems. The narrow focal-length tolerances of our lenses ensure consistent system integration and reliable optical behavior.

These lenses feature two equal radii of curvature, providing precise optical performance for applications requiring controlled beam divergence. The ARB2 VIS broadband anti-reflection coating delivers high transmission across the 450–700 nm wavelength range while providing excellent laser damage resistance.

  • Guaranteed residual reflection < 0.5 % for angles of incidence 0° ≤ AOI ≤ 15° in the AR range
  • Typical average residual reflection < 0.3 % for angles of incidence 0° ≤ AOI ≤ 15° in the AR range
  • Damage threshold H > 30 J / cm² for 11 ns laser pulses (s‑on‑1) at 1064 nm and 10 Hz
  • AR range typical: 450–700 nm
  • Design adaptable to the spectral range of 350 nm ≤ λ ≤ 950 nm and to higher angles of incidence
