Mounted UV Fused Silica Symmetric-Concave Lenses, ARB2-NIR
Our LINOS® fused silica symmetric-concave lenses for the NIR wavelength range are available in various focal lengths and diameters, offering reliable solutions for demanding applications. These lenses are ideal for beam expansion, divergence of collimated light, and situations requiring minimal spherical aberration and balanced optical performance. Each lens is made from premium fused silica sourced from trusted suppliers and manufactured to tight tolerances for exceptional optical quality and long-term stability. Lenses are offered mounted in a high-quality, black-anodized, engraved aluminum mount or unmounted for flexible integration.
Our mounted symmetric-concave lenses, made from high-quality fused silica, integrate seamlessly with LINOS Microbench and Nanobench systems. Tight focal-length tolerances ensure consistent system integration and reliable optical performance. With two equal radii of curvature, these lenses deliver precise results for applications requiring controlled beam divergence.
The ARB2 NIR broadband anti-reflection coating on fused silica provides high transmission from 725 to 1050 nm and excellent resistance to laser damage, ensuring a high damage threshold and reliable performance in demanding environments.

Specifications broadband anti-reflective coating ARB2 NIR:

- Guaranteed residual reflection < 0.5 % for angles of incidence 0° ≤ AOI ≤ 15° in the AR range
- Typical average residual reflection < 0.3 % for angles of incidence 0° ≤ AOI ≤ 15° in the AR range
- Damage threshold: H∞ > 30 J / cm² for 11 ns laser pulses (s‑on‑1) at 1064 nm and 10 Hz
- AR range typical: 725–1050 nm
- Design adaptable to the spectral range of 600 nm ≤ λ ≤ 1400 nm and to higher angles of incidence
