Mounted UV Fused Silica Symmetric-Concave Lenses, ARB2-VIS
Our LINOS® mounted symmetric-concave lenses, made from premium fused silica, are available in various focal lengths and diameters for visible wavelengths. They deliver reliable performance in demanding UV and high-power applications. These lenses are ideal for beam expansion, collimated light divergence, and situations requiring minimal spherical aberration and balanced optical quality. Each lens is produced to strict tolerances for exceptional quality and long-term stability, using fused silica from trusted suppliers. Both mounted versions with black-anodized, engraved aluminum mounts and unmounted versions are available for flexible integration.
Our mounted symmetric-concave lenses, crafted from high-quality fused silica, integrate seamlessly with LINOS Microbench and Nanobench systems. Precise focal-length tolerances ensure reliable optical performance. Each lens features two equal radii of curvature, providing accurate results for applications requiring controlled beam divergence.
The ARB2 VIS broadband anti-reflection coating ensures high transmission from 450 to 700 nm and excellent laser damage resistance. Fused silica outperforms standard optical glasses in the visible range and provides superior UV transmission.

- Guaranteed residual reflection < 0.5 % for angles of incidence 0° ≤ AOI ≤ 15° in the AR range
- Typical average residual reflection < 0.3 % for angles of incidence 0° ≤ AOI ≤ 15° in the AR range
- Damage threshold H∞ > 2 J / cm² for 9 ns laser pulses at 266 nm and 10 Hz
- AR range typical: 250–400 nm
- Design adaptable to the spectral range of 245 nm ≤ λ ≤ 450 nm nm and to higher angles of incidence
