pco.edge 3.1 USB sCMOS Camera
The pco.edge 3.1 USB camera is equipped with an innovative scientific CMOS sensor to achieve crisp images and precise measurements. This camera features a high-resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, high frame rates, best 16-bit dynamic range, selectable shutter variants and an optional color sensor. Furthermore, the pco.edge 3.1 features outstanding low read-out noise of 1.1 electrons median even at the maximum speed of 50 fps at full resolution for superior image quality.
The pco.edge 3.1 offers both rolling and global shutter exposure modes for use in a wide range of applications. This entry level camera model offers a very attractive price-to-performance ratio. Due to the excellent low noise and the high fullwell capacity of the sCMOS image sensor an intra scene dynamic range of better than 27 000 : 1 is achieved. This pco.edge 3.1 USB camera provides an excellent homogeneous pixel response to light (PRNU, photo response non-uniformity) and an excellent homogeneous dark signal pixel behavior (DSNU, dark signal non-uniformity), which is achieved by a sophisticated electronic circuit technology and firmware algorithms.
