pco.flim X

pco.flim X

The pco.flim X is a new version of the first frequency domain (FD) Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM) camera using a fast modulatable CMOS sensor with two readout-taps per pixel. It offers an improved cooling, which achieves -5°C with forced air cooling and -20°C image sensor temperature with water cooling. All of this reduces the readout noise level below 15 [e-] and extending the usable exposure times to 4 instead of 2s. Therefore, the pco.flim X remains the frequency domain FLIM camera system with the largest resolution of 1008 x 1008 pixel and the highest maximum frame rate of 45 double image/s on the market.

  • Excellent resolution of 1008 x 1008 pixels
  • Can measure fluorescence lifetimes from 1 ns – 100 µs
  • Image sensor thermoelectrically cooled down to -5°C (air) / -20 °C (water)
  • Maximum frame rate of 45 double images/s at full resolution
