Phoseon Optical Fiber UV LED Curing System

The Phoseon 8th-generation Fiber Curing System features a three-part reflector assembly that improves the irradiance of the fiber by twenty percent, allowing for faster processing speeds. The Fiber Curing System uses a fiber-optimized UV LED light source combined with a patented reflector that directs UV light around the entire circumference of the fiber. A finely tuned light source and proprietary optics are used for UV LED curing, enabling improved process control and resulting in a superior and more consistent overall product.

Our Phoseon Fiber Curing System features a high-intensity UV LED light source that cures the coatings protecting the glass fibers. Accompanying this is a Fiber Reflector Unit (FRU) designed to direct UV energy around the circumference of the fiber. Both the UV LED light source and the FRU are housed in an IP52 enclosure, which protects the system from liquid spills. With WhisperCure™ and TargetCure™ technologies, the air-cooled FJ228 delivers reliable, consistent performance at a quiet operating level. The use of LED technology not only significantly reduces energy consumption but also lowers the surface temperature of the workpiece. For applications that require process monitoring, the FRU has a mounting feature for an irradiance monitoring system. Additionally, the enclosure includes integrated mounting hardware, making it easier than ever to retrofit onto existing towers.
