PYQ 1548 Quad-Element Low-Power DigiPyro
PART/ PYQ 1548

PYQ 1548 Quad-Element Low-Power DigiPyro

With a mere 1.8 V power requirement, Excelitas offers the first real low-power enhanced DigiPyro® Series. The PYD 1548 is a fully integrated, Quad-Element Detector. That DigiPyro offers added features and low-current power consumption for extended remote motion detection in battery operated devices.

The Low-Power DigiPyro PYQ 1548 works at the new industry-leading standard of 1.8 V supply voltage and significantly reduced supply current. The power requirements of the system level can be further reduced with the wake-up/sleep feature of this detector series, which also promotes power efficiency and extends service life. This Pyrodetector Series is ideal for prolonged battery operated motion detection. A selectable band-pass function and pulse count option further compliment the full functionality of this device. That sensor is also available with smaller elements of 0.8x0.8 mm². Small elements are suitable for compact lenses and short detection distances.
