Unmounted Fused Silica Plano-Convex Lenses, ARB2-NIR

Our high-precision LINOS® Plano-Convex Lenses are offered unmounted to allow for flexible, custom integration into your optical system. The exceptionally narrow focal-length tolerances of these lenses ensure consistent system integration and reliable optical behavior. Engineered on a fused silica substrate, they feature an ARB2 NIR broadband anti-reflection coating that delivers high transmission across the 725-1050 nm wavelength range. This specialized coating provides superior laser damage resistance, ensuring a high damage threshold and dependable performance under demanding conditions.

Our wide range of LINOS® unmounted fused-silica lenses is offered in various focal lengths and diameters, suitable for UV and high-power applications. They are made from premium materials sourced exclusively from trusted manufacturers and meet strict tolerances to ensure high quality.

Each standard lens includes double-sided anti-reflection coatings optimized for the near-infrared (NIR) range to maximize transmittance. All lens types are also available with a black-anodized, engraved aluminum mount.

  1. Guaranteed residual reflection < 0.5 % for angles of incidence 0° ≤ AOI ≤ 15° in the AR range
  2. Typical average residual reflection < 0.3 % for angles of incidence 0° ≤ AOI ≤ 15° in the AR range
  3. Damage threshold: H > 30 J / cm² for 11 ns laser pulses (s‑on‑1) at 1064 nm and 10 Hz
  4. AR range typical: 725–1050 nm
  5. Design adaptable to the spectral range of 600 nm ≤ λ ≤ 1400 nm and to higher angles of incidence
