Unmounted UV Fused Silica Symmetric-Concave Lenses, ARB2-VIS
Excelitas provides a broad selection of LINOS® unmounted fused silica lenses in various focal lengths and diameters, simplifying the selection process for UV and high-power optical applications. We use only premium materials from trusted manufacturers and maintain strict tolerances to ensure exceptional quality. Each standard lens includes double-sided anti-reflection coatings optimized for the visible (VIS) wavelength range to maximize transmittance. All unmounted lens types are also available with a high-quality, black-anodized, engraved aluminum mount.
Our unmounted symmetric-concave lenses feature two identical radii of curvature, allowing flexible integration into optical systems. Tight focal-length tolerances ensure consistent performance and reliability. The ARB2 VIS broadband anti-reflection coating provides high transmission from 450 to 700 nm and strong laser-damage resistance. Fused silica offers better visible-spectrum performance and superior UV transmission compared to standard optical glass.

- Guaranteed residual reflection < 0.5 % for angles of incidence 0° ≤ AOI ≤ 15° in the AR range
- Typical average residual reflection < 0.3 % for angles of incidence 0° ≤ AOI ≤ 15° in the AR range
- Damage threshold H∞ > 2 J / cm² for 9 ns laser pulses at 266 nm and 10 Hz
- AR range typical: 250–400 nm
- Design adaptable to the spectral range of 245 nm ≤ λ ≤ 450 nm nm and to higher angles of incidence
