Achromatic Retarders
LINOS® Achromatic retarders deliver precise, stable polarization control over broad spectral ranges, making them suitable for demanding optical applications. Offered as half-wave and quarter-wave options, they provide accurate phase manipulation with minimal wavelength dependence, ensuring consistent performance across various broadband light sources. The cemented design improves mechanical stability and long-term alignment while preserving high optical quality.
Our achromatic zero-order waveplates feature transmission exceeding 86%, surface flatness of λ/4 at 633 nm, and high surface quality, supporting low scattering and reliable wavefront preservation with controlled wavefront distortion between λ/2 and 1λ. Mounted versions are fully compatible with Microbench systems, allowing easy integration and precise alignment in laboratory and instrumentation setups where robust polarization control is essential.
