Backside-Illuminated CMOS and CCD Linear Image Sensors
Excelitas LA Series of Line Sensors are the most versatile photo detectors in sensing technology. These linear image sensors set a new benchmark in miniaturization and performance. Featuring an ultra-compact design, they are the smallest in their class worldwide, delivering outstanding sensitivity, speed, and precision for the most demanding optical measurement systems. This compact architecture combines a very small form factor of 8.1 x 1.3 x 0.23 mm, very high QE from 350 nm to 1100 nm, and a high SNR of 70 dB. It also offers versatile single- or multi-frame acquisition at up to 257,000 lines per second.
Designed for industrial and portable platforms, the LA-Series linear image sensors combine high signal integrity, broad spectral responsiveness, and ultra-fast readout to ensure accurate, stable measurements across dynamic or low-light conditions. They support flexible acquisition modes, built-in thermal monitoring, and seamless digital integration to enable reliable, repeatable performance and reduce system complexity in precision metrology, scanning, spectroscopy, and wearable sensing applications.
