KD*P Pockels Cell 50 Ohm Series

The LINOS® LM10 SG 50 Ohm Series KD*P Pockels Cells provide ultra-fast switching capabilities in the nanosecond and sub-nanosecond range. Drawing on extensive experience and innovation in optical solutions for lasers and laser systems used in industrial, medical, and semiconductor applications, the 50 Ohm Series offers excellent extinction and high transmission in a compact, 50 Ohm impedance-matched design. These ultra-fast Pockels cells are ideally suited for integration into medical laser systems that require fast switching, pulse slicing, or pulse picking.

The LINOS LM10 SG 50 Ohm Pockels Cell is designed with a 50 Ohm impedance-matched configuration, featuring BNC connectors, and is optimized for use in transmission line setups (impedance not guaranteed). It offers fast rise and fall times of less than 500 ps when paired with an appropriate high-voltage driver, making it ideal for fast-switching and pulse-slicing applications. Equipped with a highly deuterated KD*P crystal (typically >98%), it is well-suited for infrared laser systems.
