PYD 1588, PYD 1598 Low-Power DigiPyros

With a mere 1.8V power requirement, Excelitas offers the first real low-power enhanced DigiPyro® Series. The PYD 1588 and PYD 1598 DigiPyros are fully integrated, Dual-Element Detectors with two different window size options. These DigiPyros offer added features and low-current power consumption for extended remote motion detection in battery operated devices.

The Low-Power DigiPyro PYD 1588/1598 works at the new industry-leading standard of 1.8V supply voltage and significantly reduced supply current. The power requirements of the system level can be further reduced with the wake-up/sleep feature of this Detector Series, which also promotes power efficiency and extends service life. This Pyrodetector Series is ideal for prolonged battery operated motion detection. A selectable band-pass function and pulse count option further compliment the full functionality of this device.
