Tunable Two Stage Diode Laser Isolators, DLI Series
DLI Faraday Isolators are two-stage, tunable isolators specifically engineered to meet the unique demands of diode lasers in the visible spectrum. They combine the superior isolation performance of a two-stage design with the flexibility of tunable operation. Easy to integrate into existing systems, these isolators can be adjusted precisely without altering laser polarization or position. Injection-locking versions are also available, making DLI Faraday Isolators a versatile, high-performance solution for demanding optical setups.
The DLI two-stage isolators provide exceptionally high isolation (≥60 dB) without affecting polarization or beam alignment and offer tunable maximum isolation and transmission across the full wavelength range. Precise wavelength adjustment is enabled by rotating the central polarizer with a micrometer set screw. Blocked radiation is safely redirected out of the beam path for easy access. Injection locking versions are available and allow efficient seed laser in-coupling.

- Two coupled isolator stages in series: Provide exceptionally high isolation (≥60 dB) without altering polarization or beam position.
- Tunable: Delivers maximum isolation and transmittance across the full wavelength range.
- High-precision: Precise wavelength adjustment is achieved by rotating the central polarizer using a micrometer set screw. Each isolator is accompanied by an individually calibrated adjustment curve.
- Access to blocked beam: Blocked radiation is deflected 90° from the beam axis and is not absorbed within the isolator. Instead, it exits through the polarizers' side surfaces and exit window, making it accessible.
- Injection locking versions available: This version inverts the operating mode, using the exit window for seed laser in-coupling. It efficiently decouples the master and slave lasers, simplifying stable mode locking (e.g., for Ti:Sapphire lasers).
