Unmounted, UV Fused Silica Symmetric-Concave Lenses, Uncoated
Our LINOS® unmounted symmetric-concave lenses are made from premium fused silica and offered in various focal lengths and diameters to meet demanding UV and high-power applications. These lenses are ideal for beam expansion, divergence of collimated light, and applications requiring minimal spherical aberration and balanced optical performance. Each lens is produced to strict tolerances using fused silica from trusted suppliers, ensuring excellent optical quality and long-term stability. All unmounted lens types are also available with a high-quality, black-anodized, engraved aluminum mount.
Our unmounted symmetric-concave lenses feature two identical radii of curvature, providing flexibility for custom integration into optical systems. Tight focal-length tolerances ensure consistent integration and reliable optical performance. These lenses can also be converted into spherical mirrors with a custom single-sided metallic coating of silver or aluminum.
Manufactured from fused silica, these lenses are suitable for UV and high-power applications, offering a high damage threshold and dependable performance in demanding environments. Uncoated versions are ideal for broad wavelength use, as fused silica delivers higher transmission than standard optical glass.
Customized versions are available upon request to meet your specific application requirements. Options include tailored geometries, focal lengths, coatings, and mounting solutions—delivering maximum flexibility and performance for both standard and specialized optical designs.
