The February 2026 issue of FlexoTech magazine features commentary from Excelitas Marketing Manager Stacy Hoge detailing how UV curing technology advancements are helping printers save money and enhance environmental performance for smarter operation.

Excelitas TargetCure and ValidCure technologies work in concert to ensure precise, consistent and measurable UV output, with selected segments of the light source able to be turned on or off as required. While TargetCure continuously monitors lamp performance, automatically adjusting for lamp aging and ambience changes, ValidCure complements this through real-time monitoring and validation directly at the substrate level, confirming the curing power delivered to the substrate.
