X-Ray Power Supplies

The Excelitas family of high-voltage X-ray power supplies are highly regulated designs created for the demanding requirements of X-ray systems.  These power supplies provide high voltage for X-ray tube, filament power and closed-loop emission current control.  Some units run continuously at full power and others are designed for lower duty cycle applications that have high peak power demands.

The 180 kV/16 mA CT X-Ray PS is highly regulated Power Supply designed for use in an X-Ray computer tomography (CT) system. The unit is designed to run continuously at full output while mounted on a rotating gantry at speeds to 120 rpm up to 25 G. The high-voltage tank assembly is filled with oil for purposes of electrical insulation and cooling. Extensive internal interlocks and diagnostics are incorporated to provide safe and highly reliable operation.
