C30733 InGaAs Avalanche Photodiodes Series

The C30733 Series combines various products of high-gain InGaAs Avalanche Photodiodes (APD) with 30 µm active area. Excelitas InGaAs APDs provide large quantum efficiency (QE), high responsivity and low noise in the spectral range between 1000 nm and 1700 nm. They are supplied in a hermetically sealed TO-18 package, or as FC/APC single mode fiber pigtail.

The C30733 Series is the smallest InGaAs Avalanche Photodiode (APD) in the Excelitas portfolio and operates at high gain up to M=100. This high gain enables precise detection of extremely low-light levels with low noise generation due to intrinsic amplification. It features a FC/APC connector that allows for easy integration into fiber-based systems as Distributed Optical Fiber Sensors (DOFS) for DTS, DAS, and strain measurements. The C30733EQC-3 model is the latest APD of the C30733 Series, offering faster recovery for high-frequency applications.
