E-Beam Supply, Low power, 50mA

The Excelitas E-Gun High Voltage Power Supply is a highly regulated power supply designed for use in an electron-beam system. The supply provides high voltage for the electron beam emitter, filament power and closed-loop emission current control. High frequency power conversion technology is used for all power supply functions. The unit is designed to run continuously at full output.

 

 

  • The high voltage output of the supply is single-ended, and can be varied from near 0 to negative 125 kV. Maximum emission current is 58.0 mA at full output voltage.
  • Emission current regulation is achieved through control of emitter’s filament current. Maximum filament current is 18A into a 1 ohm load.
  • The power supply is comprised of a Converter Assembly and a High Voltage Tank Assembly. The High Voltage Tank Assembly is filled with oil for purposes of electrical insulation and cooling.
  • Control of the power supply is performed by 15 V or 24 V interface signals supplied by the customer.
  • Extensive internal interlocks and diagnostics are incorporated to provide reliable and safe operation, as well as to facilitate installation
