Infrared Booster for Industrial Heating
Excelitas offers infrared (IR) boosters to help augment existing drying systems and optimize the heating process as production demands increase. The IR booster is typically placed in front of an existing drying system from where it rapidly brings the product up to temperature allowing line speeds to increase accordingly. This process can equate to a 50% savings in time required to dry or cure the coating on a particular product. Learn more about this solution.

The specific framework conditions of a product and heating process determine the most applicable IR booster type. Different combinations of IR boosters can be used in order to reach the appropriate product temperature required for maximum production efficiency. For example, an electrical infrared booster can be placed in front of a hot air oven, or an infrared module can be used together with a conventional infrared oven.
IR boosters typically integrate our Golden 8 infrared emitters which combine targeted heat output with high stability for fast and efficient heating processes.
Noblelight infrared boosters are used to optimize production plants in a variety of applications. Our Noblelight application centers enable customers to work with our team of experts to test and simulate their process prior to implementation and ensure process reliability.
