Large area, UV-Enhanced APDs
The large-area, UV-enhanced Silicon Avalanche Photodiodes (Si APDs) are intended for use in a wide variety of broadband low-light-level applications covering the spectral range from below 400 to over 700 nm. These low noise, low capacitance and high gain Si APDs are available in flat-pack packages for either direct detection or easy coupling to scintillator crystals.

- C30626FH - Si APD, 5x5mm, Flatpack - has actual dimensions of 4.7 x 4.7 mm and is capable of direct detection or easy coupling to scintillator crystals thanks to its flat-pack package design.
- C30703FH - Si APD, 10x10mm, Flatpack - has 10 x 10 mm dimensions and is designed for extremely large areas. It comes in a flat-pack package design. It is enhanced for blue-wavelength response with a peak quantum efficiency at ~ 530nm, making it ideal for radiation detection.
- C30703FH-200 - Si APD, 10x10mm Flatpack without Glued Window - also comes in a flat-pack assembly while offering the same level of performance as the C30703FH. It is well-suited for radiation detection in extremely large areas.
- C30739ECERH - Si APD, Ceramic Carrier - covers the spectral range from less than 400 nm to greater than 700 nm. It has low noise, high gain, low capacitance, and an enhanced UV response, with a quantum efficiency above 70% at 430 nm. This Si APD series is ideally suited for applications at low-light-levels, like molecular imaging.
- C30739ECERH-2 - Si APD, Ceramic Carrier, High-Gain - comes in a ceramic carrier package, enabling easy handling and coupling to scintillation crystals, such as LSO and BGO.
