PYQ 2498 Dual-Output Quad Pyro

The Excelitas PYQ 2498 Pyrodetector provides two pairs of two elements in a geometric square placement. Two elements per pair are electrically connected in series. Each pair represents an individual analog output signal. The TO-5 housing includes an optical window in rectangular shape.

This "Quad" Pyrodetector series provides four elements separated into two pairs of two. Each pair is electrically connected to one FET in source follower connection forming one analog output signal. With this two individual outputs signals are provided. Geometrically the two pairs have a narrow spacing. For better EMI protection the detector includes an internal RC circuit. The TO-5 housing includes an optical window in rectangular shape
