Excelitas Technologies is a leader in the design, test, and manufacture of electronic Firing Modules (FM) for applications where the energetic transfer is remote from the safety electronics or for applications where multiple points of energetic transfer are required such as with distributed systems.

Excelitas' Firing Modules are designed to meet the safety and reliability requirements of both legacy and next-generation missiles and munitions, as well as the specific requirements of the customer's application. We can design firing modules as over-voltage devices or command-to-fire devices, and can also include firing delay timers. Excelitas firing modules are designed to work in conjunction with our line of Low-Energy Exploding-Foil Initiators, known as Blue Chip^® detonators.
