VTP7840H - Si PD, Lensed Side-looker IRT, 5.27mm2

The VTP7840H is a silicon photodiode in a lensed, side-looking package with visible blocking. This photodiode provides a fast response, low dark current, and a wide field-of-view.

This fast response silicon photodiode provides a 5.27 mm2 active area designed for a spectral response between 725 nm and 1150 nm.

This series of photodiodes is designed for low-junction capacitance to achieve faster response time. They are suitable for operation under reverse bias, which increases the speed of response, but can also be used in photovoltaic mode. These devices have excellent response in the IR region and are well matched to IR LEDs.
